3/28/2005 at 9:44am monday we'll slide down the surface of things i sit here typing this from a hotel room in beautiful san diego because i'm a nerd. having free inroom broadband figured i would type up a little note to say hi and this being my first time in san diego...that's right, all of 30 years this is my first stop here. i have passed through going to AZ or that little mexican town we all love and love to leave (don't rent the mopeds). the reason for the trip, especially on a work week: seeing u2 in concert tonight. here with my friend rob. it is opening night of their usa tour for the new album...for his birthday. bono wanted to start off the tour for rob who is turning 35 today. got in last night, staying in carmel valley, ate in del mar, drank in del mar, took a taxi to pacific beach, partied, drank, to an unmarked cab back to the hotel (oh yeah it's easter sunday)...but people still partied...probably because they were all in their 20's...i feel old in san luis, and i feel old in san diego...sometimes... two guys, a rental car, u2 tickets, and nothing to lose... > hi nick bell 3/21/2005 at 3:45pm monday it took a life span with no cellmate . . . some links for today: Future of Yahoo and Flickr 3/17/2005 at 8:44am thursday i had a funny idea for a shirt. so i made the graphic, but after looking at it and then thinking that no one really knows that the kid icon is woodencracker...people will read it as 'i shamrock guinness and little irish boys'...not cool. ixnay on the irtshay. i'm german anyway. but we're all irish tonight . . . some links for today: The History of St. Patrick's Day from The History Channel irsh on ebay 3/16/2005 at 4:29pm wednesday at the car wash baby . . . some links for today: The finest gas-station lavatory in all of Southern California.
